We have installed this larger unit to improve curing times and quality of the finished product. The larger diesel fired boiler also gives us the capacity to work on atmospheric cures for larger more complex jobs.
Our Autoclave Is Here, Installed And Commissioned,
It has a capacity of 6.5 x 2.2 that should be capable of handling most hot lining situations within our area. Using hot rubber will provide superior bond strength and cheaper solutions to all rubber lining needs. We can now provide more cost effective ways to reline/line existing equipment and provide innovative products to solve problems we haven't heard of yet.
We have been changing some staff around to provide better service to our customers:
Mathew Gow has joined our team in the Rubber Lining Division. Mathew has many years of experience in many areas and is well known within the district. Mat has been out and about on site belt splicing and in the workshop, busy lining pipes and tanks.
We are still training people so they can perform a multitude of tasks for all of the mines and businesses in the area.
Our 20t Trolleys Have Been Valuable Again
The trolleys make it very easy for us to get things in and out of the workshop; a recent Paste Pipe project has shown just how good they are at handling 12m pipes. We have recently had 2 Matte Pots in the workshop providing the fastest turn around time reducing end user downtime and improving equipment utilisation. The crane drivers think our trolleys are fantastic reducing changeover time and improving safety.
The Conveyor Division
The Conveyor lads have been supplying belts and accessories as well as splicing them for our customers. We have supplied several mines with belts in recent weeks, some from our stock and others are special buy-ins
Rubber Lining Division
The rubber liners have been lining pipes and chutes and vulcanising distributors and pipes as well as relagging conveyor drums.
